details: we’ll have shuttles to take us all to & from the wedding venue from santa barbara. stay tuned for wedding party day-of schedule!
Sunday, August 30th
easy breezy goodbye brunch
location: helena avenue bakery, sb
time: 11am
details: swing by for brunch or coffee at our favorite spot to debrief and hug one more time before you leave town :), just for our close ones, nothing fancy - come and go - we’ll just grab some tables.
Hotel Info:
this is where we will be staying! we’re inviting our wedding party friends to stay here too if it works for you, for travel ease & extra hangs :). but if another place better suits you, no worries! a few notes about it:
3 blocks to state street (downtown)
an even closer walk to coffee & small food market
has been very comfy, quiet & easy every time we’ve stayed
room size was great (aka not super tiny)
free covered parking
also available to book on chase travel (if you wanna use points), or airbnb (discount code won’t work though).

we have a 10% discount code to use at this location, or any other zen stay location in santa barbara.
*casa riviera & the other zen stay locations are kinda an in-between of a hotel & airbnb. it’s set up like a small boutique hotel, but with self entry and no lobby, daily housekeeping, etc. room sizes and types vary between locations, so recommend taking a look if casa riviera doesn’t have what you need (casa de la vina, casa castillo, casa jardin)

cute coffee shop & cocktail bar in the hotel ground floor
stylish, but smaller rooms
parking not included, you can pay to park in the public lot behind the building, or elsewhere
there can be noise from state street (this only happened to us once)
we don’t have a discounted block currently set up here, but if multiple people do want to book here, just let us know and we’ll see if we can get a better group rate!
notes & reminders:
we highly recommend staying close to downtown santa barbara if possible. our rehearsal dinner, welcome gathering & goodbye brunch will all be located here, as well as wedding day getting ready & transportation to the venue. we suggest booking early if you can since summer is peak season!
